What is Pakaoma

Loincloth is local products found all over Southeast Asia country. Archeologist and Textile Specialist assumes they come from Persian Traders.

In Thailand we called Loincloth as "Pakaoma" while "pa" means cloths and "kaoma" come from Persian word "Kamir"

Pakaoma has various usages; to wear over your body or head or waists, to clean stuffs, to cover a furniture.

To value-added pakaoma, I focus on 2 design strategy pillar; aesthetic and new ways of use.

Design Concept

Noong-Hohm is Thai language means "to wear". This collection was inspired by the usage of loin clothes in Southeast Asia Country developed in to method of wearing pillow case.
